This privacy policy explains how Linotte ("we") collects, uses and protects the personal data of users of Linotte, a family organizer available on the web and on mobile.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
- Account: email address and password (stored encrypted/hashed). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google identifier, your email address and basic profile information.
- Family content you create: calendar events, shopping lists, tasks, meals, birthdays, contacts, photos, documents and messages shared within your household.
- Technical data: connection logs and β if you enable them β the device identifier required to deliver push notifications.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing and running the service (managing your account and household) β basis: performance of the contract.
- Authenticating you, including via Google β basis: performance of the contract.
- Sending push notifications β basis: your consent, withdrawable at any time.
- Ensuring security and preventing abuse β basis: legitimate interest.
4. Signing in with Google
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your identifier, email address and basic profile information with us so we can create or find your account. We do not access any other data from your Google account, and we never post anything to it.
5. Push notifications
Push notifications rely on Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). Your device identifier is kept solely to deliver these notifications and is deleted when you disable them or sign out.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. It is only accessible to the members of your household, according to what you share, and to the technical providers strictly necessary to run the service: our hosting provider [to be completed], Google (authentication) and Firebase (notifications). These providers act only on our instructions.
7. Retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, it is erased within a reasonable time, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (password hashing, encrypted HTTPS communications, per-household data isolation) to protect your data.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You can exercise these rights by writing to contact@linotte.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL β www.cnil.fr).
10. Cookies
We use only a session cookie necessary for your authentication. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers are used.
11. Children
Linotte is a tool for families. Children's profiles are created and managed by a parent or guardian, who consents to the processing of the associated data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. If a significant change is made, we will inform you. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
